- It is the oldest history of the world. One day you are seventeen years old and are planning what you will be some day ..., and then, without doing noise, and without indeed they have warned you ..., some day is today. And then some day is yesterday. And this one is your life.
- If you had a friend that you knew that you would never return to see ... what would you say to him? If you could do a last thing for someone whom you love ... which would be? Say it. Do it. Do not wait. Nothing lasts forever.

- There is entertained how our past fits us. How the person that we were never in the habit of being gets lost of the person that we are. The failures and past disappointments ..., even the victories form a part of us. They court us as ghosts or visit us as old friends.
- The human beings are ambitious. We happen a lot of time queriendo, chasing, wishing. For the majority, it are it nice. The ambition is nice. To chase things with integrity is nice. Dreaming. Providing that the pursuit does not imply forgetting what we have. The kindness that we give seated, the persons whom we give seated. The lives that we give seated.

- Es la historia más vieja del mundo. Un día tienes diecisiete años y estás planeando lo que serás algún día..., y entonces, sin hacer ruido, y sin que de verdad te hayan avisado..., algún día es hoy. Y luego algún día es ayer. Y ésta es tu vida. 
- Si tuvieras un amigo que supieras que nunca volverías a ver... ¿Qué le dirías? Si pudieras hacer una última cosa para alguien a quien quieres... ¿Cuál sería? Dilo. Hazlo. No esperes. Nada dura para siempre. 
- No importa cómo lo planeas. No importa cómo lo imaginas. Incluso sin saberlo, a veces la vida tiene la manera de encontrarte lo que exactamente necesitas o exactamente a quién necesitas. 
- Es divertido cómo nuestro pasado nos encuadra. Cómo la persona que solíamos ser nunca se pierde de la persona que somos. Los fallos y decepciones pasadas..., incluso las victorias forman parte de nosotros. Nos rondan como fantasmas o nos visitan como viejos amigos.
- Los seres humanos son ambiciosos. Pasamos mucho tiempo queriendo, persiguiendo, deseando. Para la mayoría, eso está bien. La ambición está bien. Perseguir cosas con integridad está bien. Soñando. Siempre que la persecución no implique olvidar lo que tenemos. La bondad que damos por sentado, las personas a las que damos por sentado. Las vidas que damos por sentado.
